Andrew Sentance is a British financial analyst (CFA charterholder) who has been working in Italy since 2000. In 2004 and 2005 he wrote a couple of reports on Banca Popolare di Lodi which criticised the oversight of the Bank of Italy and helped lead to the removal of the then Governor, Antonio Fazio. He also wrote an article outlining the problems at Banca Carige before that was investigated in 2013. He has appeared on Italian television on several occasions. He is currently a consultant for several funds/hedge funds, one of which won various awards for its performance in 2014-2016. He has a degree from Oxford University.
